It was a good night for a Crab Feed at La Sierra Community Center, Chairman Dick Bauer garnered all of his troops, including Lieutenants David Thorman (Raffle Prizes), Phil & Katha Danz (Cake Auction), Jeff Thompson and Tony Marques (Kitchen), Walter Malhoski (Bar Aficionado), Bill Donnoe (brochure) and many other sub-lieutenants and practically all the members of the Club along with spouses, family members, and friends – enlisting them in the endeavor.
Chairman Bauer (Crab Chair) writes:

By all accounts last night's crab feed was a resounding success, enjoyed by all of our guests.   Thank you everyone for for your hard work and contributions!  It really does take a village,…”

We must not forget all the help from others, like 14 members of the Passport Club, the boy scouts who helped with set up, and the Jesuit High School baseball team, whose members served our food so politely and efficiently.
The Sundance Kid provided his usual energetic and fun music along with being a great MC of the live auction (we seemed to take in pretty good money).
All of us look forward to the final accounting of this very important fund-raiser, which funds most of our charities and projects throughout the year -cross your fingers!

In a poignant moment Assemblyman Ken Cooley presented a resolution to the Club in honor of the passing of Doug Haaland, note the pictures of the event below.
